I have to Do Everything
General hobby post today because my mind can't seem to settle down despite being so sleepy. I love!! Arts and crafts!! I love making things look pretty. I love collaging and drawing and making jewelry and bookbinding and sewing and all the nice things. I also love!! Performing arts!! I love playing piano and stealing my brother's viola and doing fancy things with cards and silly party tricks. Some general plans and updates on various things I'm doing:
Not doing Cringetober after all... Don't have the time. Maybe next year. Doesn't mean I won't draw cringe things!! I'm making my personality revolve around being cringe for a bit so I can shed this stupid sense of self-consciousness in everything I do. I don't get why I should be ashamed for having fun. Anyway, I got new acrylic markers, so I really wanna draw something cute with that. Maybe Vanicest? Vanicest poster real not fake?
I need to make something real quick for my local library's art contest. I keep thinking of not doing it after all but the grand prize is, like, 400 dollars... The things I could buy with that money... So I'm participating whether I like it or not! I tried a previous year but I didn't win anything lul. Maybe I'll do better this time? Even being a runner-up would be good... I just want money...
I need to buy bail beads... I wanna make a Chococat bracelet for my best friend but charms tend to fall off if I just use jump rings. Since I make elastic bracelets. Anyway... I got a ton more beads so I'm gonna make some decorations for my ita bag too. I'm gonna lock in on my ita bag!! I've had it for a while but I never locked in on decorating it... I still need to make rosettes and things for it. So busy!
I finally got my charlier cut down... It only took me ages! To be fair I barely had time to practice... I did so maybe, like, 5 minutes a day. And not every day. I'm following the cardistry bootcamp playlist by lotusinhand on YouTube so my next thing to learn is da revolution cut... Which sounds cool. I'll do that after I finish writing this.
Anyway, before I do any of that I need to get my life in order... Which means I need to stop listening to Nakiso and tosho_aTe even if they're amazing because listening to them makes me dissociate. So the Shibuya-kei playlist is back on... Music affects my mood so much. It's like a switch goes off in my brain...
